Getting to Manchester:

Manchester Airport:

Metrolink:

Manchester’s Metrolink tram system runs every five minutes, making it the perfect mode of transport for those who don’t require a strict timetable. Trams run from the early morning until late in the evening; don’t forget to purchase your ticket from the machine at the platform before you board. Metroshuttle:

When in the city centre, you can hop on one of the Metroshuttle buses. These are free and link to all the main rail stations, shopping districts and businesses in the city centre. Metroshuttle operates from 7am – 7pm Monday to Saturday and 10am – 6pm on Sundays and runs approximately every 10 minutes. Stagecoach Buses

Why not give the bus a try. Stagecoach Manchester has over 100 routes operating in and around the city. The newly improved X50 service is a great example. Running up to every 15 minutes it takes you to some fantastic places including The Lowry, The Imperial War Museum North, Media City , The Trafford Centre and not forgetting Manchester City Centre.
